Your voice catches in your throat. Your rational mind knows that this is just a dumb slumber party game, but some deeper instinct prevents you from completing the ritual. Some lingering doubt. Some… more ancient knowledge.
That is the power of Candyman. We fear not the monster himself, but the nagging questions he plants in our minds:
“Can a simple word bring to life the shadows that lurk in our dreams?”
“Can belief make our nightmares real?”
